How is damage to the moving parts caused by metal fittings overcome or avoided?

its a bit difficult to explain, but ill try.... a normal wood chipper have sharp knifes that cut wood but get damaged by metal objects and have to be sharpend again often this grinder use more like crushing teeth that crush the wood instead of cutting it , hardend steel with a tungsten carbide surface. the insides of the grinder also have wearplates that are thougher than normal steel. notice that the metal parts from the ties comes out almost whole, thats becouse there is room for them between the teeths

@@samkom33 im thinking this is more like hammer mill. The arms flail and break up the wood.

@@charlesstockford5913 it probably would vork too, but then you get a lot of wear and tear on the bolt and bolt hole on the hammer.. and if the bolt breaks you wouldnt be in the way of it. hehe Here is a pic of a CGI GRINDER DRUM.. The teeth have a surface same as exavator teeth. tungsteen carbide. It crushes wood-steel-stone and take long time to wear out, althoug it dont make pretty chips 😁 highgroundequipment.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/6800CT-grinder-rotor.jpg
