Greetings Terry, just wanted you to know when I started on May- 2022 I did not know what I was doing and lost 60 eggs twice zero hatching, but when I started watching you and also Zack from Myshire farms, I have learned so much, I build an Incubator like yours with a little change maybe I will send you a video of it, the last hatch out of 36 eggs 33 of them hatched, many thanks to you and I hope when I visit Florida, I will make sure to visit you and thank you personally. Love your videos.

Terry, you might get a laugh out of this but I just built your cabinet incubator that you have another video on. But instead of mounting the back side with the forced-air channel to the back of the box, I mounted it to the front. I only noticed when I saw the cut-outs where the air would exhaust into the cabinet looked "funny"! Oops!! :D Luckily, I was able to fix it before the glue dried up.

I appreciate your videos. Your voice explaining things I feel it’s sincere and educated. No BS. I enjoy watching another guy too,but he’s selling his stock and talks a lot about them. Anyway. Thanks

I just built one out of a big double door fridge used your design just modified a bit

I would love it if you could summarize the changes you made to the incubator design in your original video here in the description (or time references for the changes mentioned) for easy reference. I’m about to build yours and would like to learn from your experiences rather than learning for myself what you’ve already figured out

I'm going to experiment with the inkbird PID controller and see how that works. I like seeing if I can make things better. Got my first batch of chicken eggs hatching tomorrow from your incubator. 18 out of 21 made it to lock down.

Hi! Love your incubator! I’m going to build one! What do you use to latch it shut?

Up in Canada that 4x8 sheet of XPS (pink) insulation is over $60, while EPS insulation (white styrofoam) is $18. It’s certainly less rigid and apparently more vapour porous but I think will be strong enough. I hope it holds humidity well enough though.

Hi Terry, watched your videos on building incubators. I think it is an awesome design! I was wondering if you could reduce the size of the upper egg turner / hatching box tray and possibly use a different material? I counted about 12 inches after a few minor adjustments. I figure each level should need about 4 inches due to the size of the egg turner and the hatching boxes. With that being said, I think that it is possible to add an additional level without increasing the total height of the incubator. Thank you.

Hi Terry, I remember you saying that you have to drill holes in the top and sides. What if we were to drill the holes at angles that way they oxygen would go with the flow of the fans as it blows out?

Hey @CoturnixCorner, have you thought about mounting the fan at the lower part of the incubator, facing the forced air chamber, and mounting the heating element on the exit of the chamber? It could also work the other way around (heating element at the bottom).

I think I am going to mount a power bank on top of mine with Velcro strips so that all my plugs can be organized and local.

How fast your temp goes down from 100 to 97 ?

I see you're changing out your fans to the sealed bearing fan. One thing i noticed with the new fans was that the light bulbs are really close to the fans, if not touching them. Is that going to be an issue for me? I'm just finalizing the incubator so if i have to recut holes i'm going to be pretty bummed!

Q. Does the adhesive inside the incubator get soft or melt due to high temperatures and humidity? I don’t want all my eggs to come ceasing down in the middle of a hatch. Thank you.

Q. I know that you said to use 60 watt incandescent light bulbs, but is it possible to use a heating element that screws into a light socket or even a heat bulb? Do you think that would produce to much heat?

Q. Do you think that a double plexiglass window is necessary for temperature sustainability? Thank you.
