Fantastic video Rosie! The only recommendation I would give is don’t put the copy of your passport with your actual passport. Instead keep it in something like a safe or your locked luggage so that, should you lose or have your passport stolen, you have the copy as backup safely somewhere else and can use that to help you at the Embassy to get a new one issued. Also, I don’t know if you can register with the Home Office when you go on these types of trips but, as an American living in Britain, I have always made sure to register with my own Embassy or, if travelling from America out, the U.S. State Department. Again, to not only keep you safe but to keep you updated on any travel warnings etc or in the event you run into legal issues or health issues. Great vid! ❤️ 🌹

I'm a geoscientist rather than an archeologist but a lot of the essentials are very similar!

Do you have many excavations when you study archaeology?

Depends on the uni you pick and how you spend your holidays. There's always an archaeology unit looking for volunteers in summer
