Professor I have a question. How can we adjust the surcharge loads within the equation of coulomb theory considering the wall friction?

Can the Ka equation be used if the retaining wall is angled towards the back-fill (i.e alpha>90deg)?

Did you reverse your Force sums for m and n. I do not see how you have the shear force acting in the n direction when to me it looks like it is acting on the m axis based on the coordinate system you choose.

Is this guy really a professor. Because that thing is obvious, could have clarify if there is some type of error. Or is he just read a script

Yes, I think he did not sum forces correctly for the m & n axis at time ~2:50 to about 3:00. He has them flip flopped.

Sir how do we solve for cohesion for the sloping backfill, you have given the formula for Ka and Kp, but what of the Pa if there is cohesion too. And Secondly Sir do we have formula for ∆.

Can you assume a flat backfill and use an equivalent surcharge for the sloped soil wedge with superposition? If so, how would you assume the width of the surcharge from the top of the wall?

Professor, why does the angle between s and N have to be equal to Φ? Thanks a lots!

Because it is the condition for shear failure on that plane.
