You are such a beautiful dancer. Clean and clear techniques. Thank you for helping me review these terms.

When did assemblé (to assemble) become elancer (to dart)? Because my Cecchetti instructor was a national examiner and I remember doing glissade assemblé combos forever in class.

I love Cecchetti too! We actually train our dancers in the Cecchetti method, RAD method, and through unset classes. We find that the skills gained from all methods are very beneficial.

I'm glad that you find this helpful, and also sorry that you find it difficult to understand the teacher. Hopefully the text helps clarify what is confusing or hard to hear. We'd be happy to answer any clarification questions you might have!

that is hard with cecchetti its very graceful but its not very athletic...cecchetti was never meaning his dancers to raise their legs over 90 degrees so he never put the exercises necessary for the suppleness and strength into it ..imo its very graceful but its not the most athletic style out there

Hi Laura! Actually, we are in Canada! However, I agree that different regions and countries definitely have certain stylistic differences and approaches!
