Your skin is so pretty! And this style is cute and neat. I'm sure it'll last the whole 5 weeks (or longer) until you're ready to wash it again. That Cered oil bottle was pissin me off too girl lol

I usually don’t comment but have a perfect hydrating shampoo for you girl . I’m absolutely obsessed and it would be a shame for me not to share. Try the design essentials almond and avocado moisturizing and Detangling sulfate free shampoo. It’s a little pricey but you really do get a good amount of it and I’m almost sure that you might say it’s better than the other moisturizing shampoo you just used . You should definitely try it . 🙂

I second this I’m a loc girlie as well my absolute favorite is the Agave and lavender moisturizing bath! It’s apart of the blow out line but the moisture in this shampoo is unreal

Yes I'm a loc girl too and I really loved the hydrating shampoo. The scent and lather was amazing. I also liked the softness afterwards. So I will reorder this shampoo again!

I used to wear this loc style frequently about 10 years ago after seeing Joy Marilie demonstrate how to do it. It's lovely. I just received my Cecred products and am going to try to do this style again. My locs are much longer now so the balls on the ends will probably be huge. 😅 Thanks for stirring up old memories.

For the clarifying shampoo, I think it's meant to be focused on the scalp. No need to use it on the hair strands. Also, you do need to use more water to help it suds. For the oil, I think the same concept applies. It's purposely designed in a way to help us manage consumption because a little goes a long way. Many of us have a heavy hand when we use products and oftentimes, we end up wasting products. Your hair looks gorgeous. I simply love the results. Where can we get that hair cap dryer that you used? 💕

Thanks for your comment! I would agree the clarifying shampoo is definitely more of a scalp treatment than a typical shampoo. I also understand the overconsumption aspect, but in general I feel like these products were just designed around loose hair. Personally the way I used products on my loose natural hair is vastly different in what my hair likes and how it responds with locs. But regardless, I will definitely use the products for future wash days, maybe my opinion will change after a few uses lol. And I have the blow drying cap listed on my Amazon storefront, which is linked in the description box. And I also tagged one to this video! ♥️

How long does it take you to retwist?
@SharmelLynnette
7 ай бұрын
It varies depending on if I do a style. With my first set of locs it used to take me 1-1.5 hours. Im still getting used to this set and I have more locs now, so its been taking a little longer, about 2hours or so.
