Thanks for the tour. Do ads if you must. You deserve to promote yourself in your own way. We just enjoy - free entertainment.

Ya, but I'm going to put them in again since I was told KZitem won't promote your videos if they don't have ads. And I think I have found that true because everything that is promoted to me has 3-5 ads!

Quickies are nice, once in a while... so I'll be brief.

The way they have the sites laid out with independent circles is really nice. Lots of sites with good views! At the beginning of the video, I kept expecting Akela to chime in with a comment!

He was just trying to protect "His Bed". He doesn't really like sharing. Which is why he sometimes sleeps in the car! A Very Nice Campground if you want to visit Nashville

Yeah, I'd stay there. Reasonably priced and close to Nashville for a day trip.

We just got back from a week at Fort McAlister state park near Savannah. Really nice park that I think you'll like if ever you get in that area. All the sites are pull through and are well separated and shady. Almost every COE campground I've been to has been in excellent shape. The only thing that they lack, for the most part, are trails. So, we do like you did and just get in the car and head for a place to walk in the woods. BTW: That wasn't the case at Fort McAlister. There was plenty to do.

I’ve been to Fort McAllister. I did a video on it. One of the camp hosts was the superintendence daughter and lived in the house at the fort. She has a huge amount of knowledge about the place. I think it used to be owned by Henry Ford or somebody. I have to look up my video.

I just heard the National Parks Service raised their rates to $30.00 at their campgrounds along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Still reasonable for old people if you have the America the Beautiful pass!

Looking at Rec.com they still seem to be $20. Most don't open until May 24, but I don't see any increase notices. Even $20 is expensive for no services. no bathrooms.

@alanosborne1947 I did find a recent press release saying they are raising the FCFS prices to $30 along the Parkway. Reservations are still $20. Non-camper Dump Station and Shower Use is going up a few $. Not sure what is was before.

Good morning! Thanks for the video. We have been traveling so didn’t get a chance to comment on your Land Between the Lakes video. I have always wanted to know more about that area. We appreciate what you showed. Maybe a little too touristy for us. We like our peace and quiet while we camp. Akela looked content sleeping next to you. What are the maximum number of hours of driving per day do you prefer?
@GoingNoWhereFast

I prefer a max of 3, but we usually end up around 5. Which is Ok because we generally leave one campsite for the next around 8am. And that puts us in the next one around 1pm.
