On June 13, 2008, a community was turned upside down by one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history. The Cedar River crested at more than 31 feet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The flood waters covered nearly 10 square miles, forcing more than 10,000 people out of their homes. Since that day, we’ve been working with the City to do more than just rebuild and protect from future flood events. We’re reimagining a community for generations to come.
