Second day #Overlanding , we stoped on the Cedar Run Trail
The Cedar Run #Trail is a 5.8-mile out-and-back trail located in #Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. The trail is generally considered to be challenging, with a significant elevation gain of 1,500 feet. The trail begins at the Hawksbill Gap Parking Area and descends along Cedar Run, passing several swimming holes and #waterfalls . The trail ends at the Whiteoak Boundary Parking Area.
The trail is open year-round, but it is best to visit during the spring or fall when the weather is mild. Dogs are not allowed on the #CedarRunTrail.
