The Lord always give warning signs,..but sometimes, people dont catch it because they too preoccupied and dont hear that "small still voice"..in addition to the warning, he always provide a "way of escape"..but then again, some people dont catch it!..we must learn from others mistakes, because the life you save, may be your own! 🌹RIP TO HER🌹

Life imitates art. I agree. Old boy who killed Ricky in Boyz in da Hood was killed being a real life gangster. I have learned looking at KZitem that once actors play a dark role/character they have to exercise these characters out of them with therapy and support. And these are excellent example of why! Michael B Jordan got therapy to exercise Kill Monger out of his spirit. Lakeith Stanfield got therapy to exercise William O’Neal out of his spirit.

Yes it is true that life imitates art. In my senior year of college, I did a thesis on dreams and as part of my thesis I created a book of drawings illustrating the dreams I would have. One of my drawings depicted a dream I would often have which was a plane crashing into a tall building. I would often have these dreams but couldn’t usnderstand why. Now this was back in 92 when I did my college thesis. First off I could never imagine in a million years that something like that would actually happen so I didn’t really think too much of it until 2001 when the twin towers were struck by two planes!

So here is my take on her story (Great commentary as usual) but oftentimes when these actors take roles they have to study the roles, become one with the character etc. for example, playing a homeless person, the actor may actually put himself through the lifestyle to really capture the character. Tara was no different. The problem was, her mind was too impressionable to not fall victim to the true life gang culture, especially once she started playing that role. Tragic ending to such a young life

I remember that. The street she was on is not far from me , it was Plymouth street. The sad thing is , that happens all the time to girls like her. Northern Cali was already a shakey move, but then VENICE 😯 & INGLEWOOD . Those 2 cities make for a perfect storm . Venice is nice but full of gangs of all races , not to mention the huge homeless population ( that act as or wrk with the gangs). Inglewood has very nice areas too but the area Tara was in is a hot bed of do nuthin old ass bloods , that started banging in they mid 20s or 30s . They love white or mixed girls like her that don't know how things really are that they can use & get to rep they hood. That street she was killed on is about 2min away from the liquor store where M-bone from Cali swag was killed. Also the Inglewood 60 crips are on the other side of the area those deaths occurred ( north of LeBrea blvd) ,many 60 crips live on the blood side & vs versa . Saying all that to describe the setting that poor girl was in the middle of. Her mother & the other grownups around her should've done more to protect her . she was still a CHILD & legally a MINOR & that was their jobs as adults( to protect children from harm). Yet every1 let her live her life acting like she was as mature as she looked, Shame on them . Lastly, any grown man that threatened MY SIXTEEN y/o baby girl WOULD NOT LIVE to do it again 👊🏽⛏⚰

Damn. You know alot. I grew up in Inglewood, but my mom moved us to Las Vegas in 2008 because of the gang life. Like I said, this was in 08, so this was the late 2000s. I can only imagine how the 2010s were out there

@@darrylbrumfield7659 it's gentrified, but a lot of the same still goes down plus waaay more homeless.. . So it's a ticking time bomb. It's not as bad where I am by the tgif Fridays off la Tijera , because the high ass rent & mortgage's. But just down the street is the same element you got away from. Your momma made a wise decision to leave this mess 👏🏽.

Exactly I use to live in the wood I never went to that liquor store where M bone was killed because I always got bad vibes another area that would be a hot spot for trouble was the Rally's on Century

@@goldbrooks crazy because I was going to move over by that area in one of those gated apartments the rent is high af but I thought it would be a lil more safer due it being one of those Luxury gated communities but when I looked at the review's the renters were complaining about break in's in the building and their cars so it's not worth it at all

@@PassportBrosAndBlondeManWeaves for real , that's why I'm shocked that little girls family let her stay there after they left. Especially in a hot spot erea between the bloods & the 60s & rowdy cliques/crews ... the building the young lady was shot at probably charging $2000 rent , just to live in danger.... smh🤦🏽♀️

Thank you!! I think this girl's story needed to be told and only you can tell it... Man!!🥰❤️ Edit: Tbh I think her boyfriend made her quit the show because he was also jealous of Tara as well... I was watching reruns of Judging Amy about ten years ago and I was wondering what happened to her... Man when I researched Tara it broke my heart because she had so much potential man...

Whoa. I never watched either Rebound or Judging Amy but I'm familiar with both. Her name seems familiar and it is absolutely horrible to know that this young lady who was practically a baby at sixteen was gunned down, possibly because she was trying to get out of that life.
