This single explanation of Kreb's Cycle was my biggest foe when I tutored Physiology at UK. I would diagram it and explain it over and over. Some fish simply can't climb trees.

thank you very much for your amazing videos. I have a question: I am stuck at how it is possible to get ATP by breaking a glucose bond -somehow the ATP seems to magically appear...I think that I am missing a fundamental piece of the puzzle. I am imagining that glucose is catabolized and the energy that is released is atp -but where does the N and Phosphate come from as glucose is only made of 6 carbon -how do we get N and phosphate from carbon? I am so stuck on this. Any help that you can provide would be so appreciated. thank you
