hi thanks for the video. you should mention that the ceramic "paint" you are using is actually GLAZE. some people might take that indication of "paint" literally and try to fire watered down paint in the kiln which would NOT be good, especially if using a community kiln. Also you might want to mention whether it is actually a GLAZE or an UNDERGLAZE that you are using. Those nomenclatures are clearly listed on each of the jar labels. Just an FYI.... piece turned out awesome!

it's true but I don't think she knows. She said she's been taking a painting class not a ceramic class

These turned out beautiful! Would you mind sharing what you used and which colors? Did you use glaze or underglaze and what cone did you fire to?

Have you tried using a blow dryer on ceramics also? Yours came out super cute, just like the rest of your projects!

I had a ceramic shop in CA many moons ago. Wish we had known about paint pouring then. We could have made tons of neat things. Your plates are beautiful.

How do you paint a bottom and it not sticking to kiln and ruining your piece. Do you paint with only an underglaze

Maybe it was paint, not glaze.

I used to do ceramics with my mama and my grandma...I remember working with glazes like this...cuz as a kid I couldn't understand where the real color was before the firing in the kiln. I love seeing you use the glazes like this!! It turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!!

One of the artists on the fluid artists Facebook group I'm on has done some work with pottery and glazes poured like other kinds of fluid art. I wish I could remember her name so you could chat with her and exchange ideas!

Do you have to use ceramic paint on ceramic plates/tiles or can you use acrylic? Do you have to put it in a kiln or can you seal it another way?
