I was just thinking about taking a chance of trying to take care of some strings as my other succulents are striving. The timing of this video is perfect 👌 🎉

I could never get a purchased pot to grow successfully in my home. The last pot I got, 4 leaves survived me trying to propagate them. I put them in a terrarium to rehab and forgot about them and they’re thriving! I’m doing the butterfly technique to propagate some leaves in moss in a container and after 2 days they already have tiny little roots! I may FINALLY get my string of() to finally grow in my home!! String of pearls, bananas, and dolphins have all bit it in my place :( I have this one in a very chunky orchid bark, perlite and tropical planting soil and they seem to love it. I’ll treat them more like epiphytes like my Hoya going forward thanks to your advice!

That is so great to hear! 😀 I always find it hard to believe this plant lives on rocky outcrops as they really like and thrive on good amount of water. You're not alone with the Pearls, Bananas etc. Unless i have them hanging directly in front of a window they 💀Customer feedback is the same. So much so i've put them in a 'difficult to grow succulents' list..😅 Hope your hearts grow huge 💕💕

I recently bought a beautiful and long Ceropegia woodi and they are stunning too with their pink underside! I propagated a few strings and the fallen or excess leaves, but thought it was a mistake since someone else said the leaves need to be a pair with a bit of stem One string dried up, but hopefully most will make it

It's a dangerous plant to have around as you just spend so much time admiring the beauty 😅💗You can propagate a pair as well as individual leaves. The pair have a node in the middle and will grow faster while individual leaves will take an absolute age. I waited over a year for a single leaf to grow big enough tuber that produced new strings but, it definitely works 🙂 When we propagate, it's not uncommon for a cutting to dry out but most survive- your remaining string should be fine 🙂🤞
