Retired A&P here. Yes what you found would be logical after it going over on its back. The vertical stab would take all that force and maybe take it out of square. You do the job RIGHT! Great work

A labor of love… I love flying Cessna airplanes. One day I will fly a 180! I learned in a Cherokee 180, but have always loved Skyhawks since transitioning.

The fuselage is bent to the left . Pull a string from the windshield to the tail .
