Bombers have too many weapons. If they stay healthy, they should remain favorites to get back to the Grey Cup game

The Cup is coming back to Winnipeg! WTG you guys rock! I'm an American Bombers fan. I adopted Winnipeg due to their proximity to Minnesota and our common history with Bud Grant. Montreal is my #2 team and my team in the east. I also like Montreal due to its history & culture.

@@kevinadam107 back then, there was parity between the NFL & CFL and players often got paid more in Canada. Bud said that he saw the writing on the wall when TV rev became a thinG. That’s when he took the Vikings job.

Bombers played well but Fajardo threw poorly most of the night.
@VoIcanoman

Fajardo has never been good against the Bombers. Ever since that Western Final in 2019 where he hit the upright on the last play of the game for a dead ball, to lose to the eventual champs, he has been absolute trash, home or away, when facing Winnipeg. He has completed ONE TD pass, TOTAL, in his last 9 games vs. Winnipeg (between Saskatchewan and Montréal, including last night), but threw for NINE interceptions in those games (and no surprise, won precisely none of them). When I heard the Als were getting Fajardo back and would be playing him instead of Evans in this game, I was absolutely thrilled, because of his ineptitude vs. Winnipeg.

Yep when the blueblomers wouldn’t give him a sniff when he came out of college, the Roughriders did , without Sask there’s a good chance he never sees the field, and how does he show his gratitude? By taunting the riders fans , unbelievable ( he and Jefferson )

Wish that in one play, while a Winnipeg D guy blocked a pass, if he picked it off instead then looked like he have a good chance to score a TD (like Alouettes did for real). Thus I like to add 7 more points although it doesn't matter at all fortunately (1st half Als were good, 2nd they blew up)

How is it a good first half for the Als when they scored 3 offensive points in the first half (and the whole game)? Points are points but don't expect to get 2 x pick six in a half on a regular basis against any team - that was just slopy by Collaros.

Was at the Bombers game, great team win...they showed resilience even though they were down at times. That being said...our QB has to stop making that stupid across body throw when running in the opposite direction. Yeah, I know he's an athletic QB...but he's not Patrick Maholmes...and even he has been burned by making that ala Brett Farve type throw.
