Thanks guys. Enjoying the channel. Just put a deposit on one of these as a stable mate for my 990 R. Looking forward to more of your thoughts and ideas about the little 450. Cheers from an old guy in the Mountains of Utah.

Hi guys The forks are quite harsh, I have re-tensioned the triple clamps as they seem over tensioned from factory, also backed off compression and rebound and seems to be bedding in ok but I think it would still benefit from a re-valve. Had my ECU are-mapped by SSS which eliminated the lean running down low and took some of the snatching away Great bike

That's why both front and rear are adjustable

Nice work Shane. Looks like a great bike for the money. I'd be interested to hear Dales opinion after riding it for a while.

so many old blokes riding adv bikes, the drz is revving its ass off at 100--- i sold mine even after sprocket changes--- dreadful of the road--- this 450 is awesome

I run 15/42 sprockets on my drz so sitting on 100kmh is ok, only doing 5,800rpm. The MT 450 is doing 5,960rpm at 100kmh, but that little twin is nice and smooth. I really liked the bike.

Old blokes on adv bikes... why? Because we've ridden on the bitumen long enough to know how bad car drivers are. Safer on the dirt.

If you’ve got the money, and no restrictions on your licence, and you’re doing a lot of off road, I’m not sure why you’d buy the CF over a 690/701/ES700 - better suspension, more power, more torque and less weight. It’s the unicorn.

I laugh at these reviews, the bikes come from factory with certain settings, they can't possibly make every bike fit every person, that's why they give u the adjustment capabilities, accessories etc, the new mapping fixes the throttle, again it's an adjustment they give u, I for 1 really like this bike. 🇦🇺👍

At least you had a laugh. And the harshness, imo, is within the suspension shims so changing the suspension clickers may not address this. It was not a review just a quick ride and my first thoughts. I may do a talk on suspension, as most people have no idea on the subject. Cheers.
