I wish Thai reviewers would review the car for its target audience. Toyota Innova Zenix is a family car for families with 5 or 6 people. People don't care about how fast it can go to 100 km/h, people don't care about how quick it can turn left and right. People care if the car is safe, comfortable, economical, etc. This car cannot be compared to ANY car in the Thai market, because there is no competitor. Honda CRV 7 seats cannot fit 7 people comfortably (3rd row is too small). Hyundai Staria is minimum 1,700,000 baht and diesel (not suitable for driving in the city). This car is in a different category because it's an MPV with hybrid engine, so it's suitable for driving long distances AND driving in the city.

I agree about this car category, but it is his signature to test 0-100kml in most of his review.

@@maftyw1564 Yeah, but it doesn't help the consumer. For example, a brake test would be much better. And it's not only him, every single reviewer in Thailand reviews all cars in the same manner. Should test the car in real Thailand + Bangkok conditions = a lot of braking, a lot of stop-and-go traffic, a lot of sitting still, loading the car full for trips etc. Not just driving on almost empty roads.

@@jirokasuga I agree with you. According to your first comment, in my opinion I think how fast we can pick the speed up to pass a slow car safely and how quick it can turns in the unexpect situation is also important. Plenty of car failed a moose test and that's why turning fast and stable is also matter. The Zenix is a good car tho.

@@PunnawatNgamduangkamol Sorry, but overtaking from 0 - 100 is not a real-life situation. Overtaking from 60 - 100 that would make sense. Changing lanes erratically is not a moose test, but I get your point. Still it doesn't prove much, as my Ford Ranger could do the exact same. I think Innova Zenix is actually a really good car for Thailand. Economical engine, can fit 6 people comfortably, reliable engine (same as Rav4 + Lexus), good service by Toyota dealers, but unfortunately reviewers are making it seem as if it's a bad car. I saw some people compared it with MUX 1.9, but that doesn't make sense as the 1.9 diesel engine will consume MUCH more in the city than this economical hybrid engine. I will go and have a look at the innova this weekend, and test drive it. Maybe I should film and make a review? 5555
