@@akira-tg5fr this song only applies to group 1 verbs (which end in i in their masu form), kuru (kite) and the group 3 suru verb (shite). Taberu (tabemasu) is from group 2 and it's regular, like miru (mite)

I've struggled immensely with the te form. It seemed so random to me. Who knew there actually was a structure and rule behind this? Now I finally feel able to someday master it.
