I love the acoustics. Was the recording in a chapel?

@@ryankish6370 Thanks for your comment. Yes it was recorded in an old chapel in Germany. I tried Stevens grip for 2 years, but at the end, I felt that the traditional grip was more comfortable for me.

Das freut mich sehr! The mallets, I am using for this piece, are SP706 from Korogi and one sample bass mallet, which will be published from Pearl/Adams Japan.

Thank you for your interest in my version of Chaconne. It is unfortunately not published, but I used an original score for violin, and only added a few notes.
How come this arrangement has the arpeggios going into sextuplets so soon? Is it not possible to keep it as written? (not asking as an accusation, wondering if I should learn it that way or as written)

if you listen to various performances of this piece, you can hear that every artist interprets these arpeggios in their own way. But i believe that it has to have a reason (for me it was a certain voicing that determined my approach to these sextuplets). So if you can perform them as they are written, great. But if not, it is very interesting to search for ways to play such passages. Eventually it's up to you.

Thank you for watching my video and commenting on it. The reason why I wanted to learn this piece was because of the debut Album by Nanae Mimura, my teacher. Her performances have been always so inspirational, and of course I heard her debut CD so many time, in which "Chaconne" was also recorded. I probably should have listened to recordings by violinists or even other instrumentalists, but I just followed how she performed. (Since then I have not changed how I interpretate the arpeggio sections.) But I have heard so many players playing this arpeggio sections differently, and I do enjoy all of it. I hope you will find a good way, with which you are satisfied. Enjoy!

@@FumitoNunoya Excellent. I meant to also write that this is probably my favorite performance of this piece. I have been practicing ever since (but I have to do it up an octave because I only have a 4.3). Thank you for uploading such a fantastic video.
