I have to agree with you, dr4761. Forgiveness must be preceded by admission and contrition on the part of the offender. Vicky Hoban, no doubt, is a force that helped propel further investigation of her niece’s death. But the unsung hero is Heather Daybell. Heather Daybell is a hero who tried to warn her ward about the dangers of her brother-in-law’s teachings. Her testimony was credible despite Prior's attempts to discredit her, and disparaged her testimony. He tried to portray her as disingenuous with a personal agenda, and he failed to do because she was a truth teller. “You must denounce things you are against or one might believe that you support things you really do not.” - Germany Kent Sheila and Jack Daybell could learn a lot from Heather about being true leaders and guiding their family along a righteous path.

My Mom, while attending the trial for my Brother’s murder, acknowledged the family of his murderer every day. She said “it is easier to be the mother of a murdered son, than the mother of a murderer” She taught us so much about empathy.❤️

Great to hear all Vicki had to say. She is so gracious and as she said a gatherer of people. No false flattery here, just being real, i was SHOCKED to hear her say she was 70. I figured 55 at most.

The party crashing story was hysterical!! I cannot believe you stayed for 2 hours! Thank you for bringing laughter after listening to weeks of this all-consuming awful case. I love how tammys family are people collectors and youve taken in colby and kay & larry. We are praying for true healing to mend your family together. Love that aunt vicki is the pot stirrer. May we all be our own pot stirrers!! Lots of love to your families! Thank you Lauren for your hardwork!

Here is a light moment,Aunt Vickie, Please share your hair/skincare routines! When she said she was 70, I literally gasped! I know this case has been so awful & tragic w/devastating impacts on so many families & individuals. I'm so very sorry for all of the losses & lasting trauma. Aunt Vickie, we must know your beauty secrets though! My family got food from McDonald's tonight & I thought about Tammy & enjoyed some junk food in her honor while knowing that it was a rare pleasure that she had since she was so healthy & fit!

I really needed a day to process the verdict and the sentencing, so I‘m only watching this now - the bbq story had me WHEEZING Lauren. These past eight weeks of trial must’ve been so hard for everyone, and I admit that even as a mere spectator it’s been a lot to process every day. It’s beautiful to see a friendship like this shine through the dark clouds of grief, that are undoubtedly still there after all these years. Your coverage has most definitely helped spread the word about this tragedy and the victims who will never be forgotten. Thank you Lauren and Dr. John for helping us compartmentalize this everyday and thank you aunt Vicki + family for sharing your grief and outlook for the future. While none of us will ever go through what they experienced, I look at this case as a strong reminder to trust my gut and hold my loved ones close.

Hi Lauren and Vicki! Our prayers were answered by God, to bring justice to the innocent victims, of these heinous, and cold-hearted crimes. We are from PA, and my family and friends were following the trials. We were elated by the verdict. So, from our family to yours, God bless all of you, who lost loved ones, and are full of strength and unity, and came together with love and comfort. Thank you Lauren, you are beautiful lady, inside and out, and worked so hard through it all. Thanks to Dr. John for his thoughts and wisdom, and being a heck of a nice man. For the rest of my life, I will never forget, what these good families went through, or the names of, Tylee, JJ, Tammy and Charles. May they rest in peace in Jesus's arms. 🥲🙏🕊️💞🙏✝️✝️💐💐

Love you, Aunt Vicki and Lauren!!! Class act you two!!! Keeping it real! Lol, I love the honesty, the love, the joy, and your feelings, emotions, and thoughts on the reality of living through this hoffic crime spree. Talking is healing! Supporting one another instead of attacking one onther is beautiful! There r too many people in this world that need to attack, assume, and judge others to feel superior or feel right. Who knows the intenstions or objectives of these people. Not engaging is winning the war on cruelty! ❤ Love. Hugs. Prayers!
