Chaka Khan is an ol timer, she knows what's going on, what went on, she's been there and done that. It's a reason why she didn't show for funneral nor Grammy's. People are trying to warn other what's really going on and too many people still wanna walk around with blinders on. Wake up and listen. This woman has been in the business too many years not to know what she's talking about.

Everyone in her family including Clive, was jealous of her. She was a world class entertainer. The best voice, looks, and personality. This woman was magnificently blessed! Honestly, this was all planned. Like how they put her image out as a American sweetheart. Her demise and eventual passing was stage by who? Her fake family and music leader.

The beginning of the end for Whitney is when she severed her ties with Robyn. Robyn was her true guardian angel here on earth who always protected and shielded her from the rift raft. I believe that if the powers that be would have let them maintain their friendship, she'd be alive with us today. RIP Whitney.

THANK YOU CHAKA, I have 13 years sober and clean and I agree with you 200%, being an artist (fashion design and painting) I know the narrow ledge we walk upon and the sheer fall to oblivion that awaits with lecherous people waiting to push us over the edge and drag us down with them.

Thankyou. Someone who says exactly what i feel about this. People had a DUTY of care to whitney. Especially when they knew her demons. her past and how vulnerable she was. The music industry and more importantly Clive davies should be ashamed of his actions.after all Whitney made him and his Crap company More money than they could have dreamed. and now a Daughter and a Mother have lost their mum and child all for "Music"

@jarredlawyer8 I agree with Chaka Khan, someone should have been put in place to watch over her or to be sure nothing got out of hand in the public eye. She had a body gaurd from my understanding, but should have been given more. Someone should have been placed to stay in her room with her. She has had struggles in her life and she was on her road to becoming clean and healthy. There should of been more given to her and if she had a manager, she should of only came the night before.

a class act and she´s right. Why did they let Whitney party - why were they not doing anything while she was drinking and what it seemed doing drugs. WHY??? WHY???. Why did they have her come up on stage drunk and sing - her so called friends - they are not friends. Friends don´t put an addict drunk upon a stage and sing.

@misbeheaven I think focusing on her beauty and talent is the problem actually. Talent and beauty are really no big deal and especially when a person is not glorifying The Lord with said talent. Also if she was ugly and could not sing, the loss would be no less. We have to move beyond the cosmetics.

People need to stop calling things demonic. I agree that artists (any kind, singers, musicians, painters, etc) are very sensitive people who wear their heart on their sleeves to create the things they do... but depression and being mentally unstable has nothing to do with demons and supernatural shit. ANY industry that revolves around money is filled with powerhungry, shady people, period. That's why you should surround yourself with good people, reach out for help and stop self-medicating yall.

@whitesoxfanforsure You come from a misguided old school teaching. Even Christ met everyone at their place. You’re unqualified to say where anyone is going in the afterlife. Whitney had issues, but the WORD was a part of her, as she battled w/flesh. God is not contained in a temple, but within us. As we do our jobs (as she did w/Clive), we can take the spirit with us to have this effectual power w/o the dialogue per se. FYI the 1st to dwell in Paradise is the “Career Thief” at the cross.

@whitesoxfanforsure Furthermore, I am not saying that her singing necessarily and directly invite people to Christ. However, it speaks to the Spirit & is representative of the something of God in her. Your way of thinking is so distorted because you were taught that by the “Status Quo”, who used that mentality for selfish reasons & to perpetuate their ideology/gain. God’s name/Bible is always used to denigrate/condemn/judge. Thus, you need not use the word to justify yourself.
@whitesoxfanforsure

@classanddignity We are to be a witness at "ALL TIMES" for the Holy SPirit. Now, the GOd that I serve demands our full attention, not to perform and take others' eyes off the Lord Jesus Christ. I see where you are trying to come from....but is is short of the Word of God.. The secular performances do NOT invite people to know Christ. Why Clive Davis would have had a fit. Whitney devoted her life to Clive Davis NOT the Lord.

@whitesoxfanforsure Sin lies within mankind as The Kingdom of Heaven is within.One can glorify God in whatever you do if it’s done with the right Spirit, & that’s ones’ MINISTRY. Singing only Gospel songs doesn’t make one any better. Also, that INDUSTRY is a BUSINESS, just like the INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE CHURCH, & must be managed ACCORDINGLY.Life doesn’t stop just because one person is gone. Chaka has the right to feel that way for her only.Whitney made her life & must take SOME RESPONSIBILITY.
