Finding new ways to control bat path can be difficult. Here is a simple way to reinforce and have instant feedback on bat path when working off the tee. By putting a tire behind the ball and just below plane you can have feedback that will force you to create a more flat path to the ball. This will help increase your chances of hitting a line drive, driving the ball for power, and hitting more gaps for extra base hits.
The uncomfortable feeling of hitting the tire will help your hitter make an adjustment of keeping their hands and barrel above the ball longer.
