Guys this was so helpful. I am one of the few who was convinced a hatchling was a safe and kind investment to make into a chameleons life and this podcast and your information from the Chameleon Academy has helped me immensely fill in the gaps and understand how to properly take care of my little fella. I am so grateful, thank you so much for creating this content for us!

I raise mine till about 4 to 5 weeks old in groups then separate to prevent stress, fighting for basking spot and avoid toe and tail nips.

I bought 2 hatchling veiled chameleons the day before yesterday and I think I was sold sick babies they haven't been opening their eyes much at all even when they are moving around and I haven't seen them eat at all since I've had they I have the flightless fruit flies for them they have a vet appointment tomorrow but I don't know what to do to help besides bringing to the vet

I just got a male and female Vail chameleons I want to know if they can stay in the same cage for a few weeks till I can get another one

How well they can be together depends both on age and cage setup (size and how densely planted). The younger they are the less physical damage they can do to each other. But the emotional stress will be there. So I suggest keeping them in as big of a densely planted cage as you can and get them into separate cages as soon as you can.

Hey breed my nosy be for the first time. 19 beautiful babies. I haven’t seen them eat but offer fruit flies and hatchling crickets two times daily. Will they still hunt for food ok? Thanks

They will hunt. The only thing that will keep them from hunting is being intimidated by more aggressive siblings
