The mi-côtes cuvée from maurice choppin is a blend of chardonnay and meunier vinified in oak barrels, aged in the cellar for 36 months. A champagne of character with many qualities. Big, rich style of champagne here. Lots of toasty notes, baked apples and creme patisserie. Superb. An amazing nose, that is rich and full of biscuit and baked goods. The palate matches this powerful aroma with big rich style fruit a gentle bead and a great woody texture with creamy softness to finish. A must for the oak lovers out there. I must admit, this is one of the finest champagne i have ever had!
