How are kids that haven’t even played a game in high school baseball yet committed to a college school? I’m 33 years old and back when I played schools couldn’t even reach out to me until second semester of sophomore year. Have the rules changed? Wtf.

Can tell these kids have relied on aluminum bats most of their lives. Break out the wood bats and it's weak contact/rollover city. Pick up the wood early kids. Don't wait until your teenage years.
@GeeOhDee88

not disagreeing but how much of it do you think has to do with aluminum bats vs the pitcher making solid pitches?
@cameronroberts5461

@@GeeOhDee88As someone who played in these types of games, the arms are usually more advanced than bats at this age. Wood bats don't really handle as different as the OP claims, it's just advanced pitchers imho. Also OP says aluminum and I can guarantee all of their younger age metal bats are expensive composites not aluminum.

3 observations. 1) sad how PG is ranking kids based purely on metrics. Their top ranked kids in the country here, and a lot of the USA prime kids can barely play baseball but powerful and hard throwers. Swings all cages swings, poor approach, no baseball iq and roll over city 2) the leadoff 2b on prime should be embarrassed. Super poor body language and c- base running 3) shortstop on wow is LEGIT
@cleanestkarma367
3 ай бұрын
If you’re going to make “observations” maybe think about the fact that these kids are 15, it’s annoying af to have a bad game against a good team so it’s very easy to have that poor body language doesn’t mean you ruin team morale bc body language is bad. Lastly the batters aren’t the issue, the arm talent on the mound at this level and age is miles ahead it’s just a fact. You’ve got kids through sweepers, curves, sliders, 70+MPH fastballs, slurves and fork balls. Most of the time this is at most their 2nd season even saying any of these pitches let alone facing it enough to get good contact on the ball. Do your research and play even near this level before making ignorant “observations”
