People living with disability need to find places of belonging, especially in the body of Christ. But too often churches lack the awareness and resources to love, include, and serve people with disabilities well.
That's why Joni and Friends comes alongside churches to help create environments of true belonging, far beyond ADA compliance. Because when the church begins to see people with disabilities for who they are-beloved children of God who are essential to whole community-Christ's love shines through brightly.
As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:22-23, "On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor."
