Idk how you got the fill plug out with the ratchet just attempted it mines too short to clear the frame I need a 17mm wrench

@@anthonyscott5484 it is a massive pita without the right wrench yeah. at first I ended up using a torque wrench dialed all the way up (bad I know) because it was my longest 3/8 ratchet. I ended up finally investing in a nice 120 tooth, long, locking rotating head ratchet (gear wrench 81297) and that made this a lot easier along with other tasks around the car. I just set the head to a slight angle and it comes right on out.

Is that DCT fluid blueish greenish in the container ? I have this bluish greenish oily liquid ontop of the transmission case , under the intake . Can’t figure out what fluid that is

DTC control fluid... I had the same leak in the same spot, I had to have the accumulator replaced under warranty as it was leaking from the seal...

The accumulator is basically a hydraulic battery, which helps to reduce the pump duty cycle.

looks to be a bad design on the fill hole.

@@HiFiInsider on the MT it's right in front, but on the DCT the DCT computer takes up that room. makes sense, just annoying. at the least I am noticing you don't even need to take the undercover off to get at it though
