I just had new sensor grips put on my new cobra irons. The top of the grip where the sensor is it’s not very firm and secure and I can feel it moving when I grip the club. Do you think these were installed in properly?

Are they the integrated sensors in the grips, or the screw top ones? I got rid of the screw in ones for that exact reason. Haven't had any issue with the integrated grips though. the thing with the integrated grips is you have to choke down about a 1/2 inch, the top part of the grip where the sensor is, isnt attached to the club at all. Its just a rubber collar extension from the butt of the grip. If you take a sensor out, youll see what i mean.

@@G2niverse it is the integrated grips. So you’re saying it’s normal there is some give and movement at the top of the grip where the sensor is? The reason I thought this was unusual is because I bought a couple cobra clubs that came off the shelf with the sensors as part of the grip. Those don’t have any give at the top - like they were part of the shaft.

Its normal for "some". Its hard to explain, but if you were to put your hand on the grip and thumb on the sensor you should be able to move it slightly. Not a lot, but youll feel some give. If you try this and can really see the sensor part moving, its possible the grip was not installed all the way down on the grip. This can happen if when they are installed, the installer didnt take the sensor out when installing the grip. The sensor covers the grip vent hole and could back it off slightly because of the pressure. That vent hole acts as a sort of "pressure release" when you are installing the grip. It allows air and extra solvent to escape during installation. By blocking it, you run the risk of not allowing the pressure to escape. Make sense?

Where can you get these grips without the sensors? My sensors are fine, I just need to replace the rubber
