I just bought a used Cruzbike Sofride. First thing I did was rig a line to hold the front off the ground. From a branch to the handlebar. Adjustable to working height whether I'm standing or sitting.

Great instruction. Helps me feel more confident knowing all these little details when I have to work on my Cruzbike. Thank you for making this video.

If they had fitted a little hook on the fork to hold the lose chain it may have been a lot easier.

I have a lot of trouble getting the front wheel to drop out of the front forks so easily on my S30. Also using a pair of latex gloves will keep your hands clean when handling the chain. I keep several pairs in my tool kit. They don't take up much space and if I tear one handling the chain, etc it doesn't matter I have spares. It really makes the job a lot less messy. (Using wax as a chain lubricant will also help, but that's not for everyone.)

The other time I did this, I got the chain twisted around. It was easier to remove the chain, put the wheel and derailleur back in place and then thread the chain back in place.

My main take-away from this, is that I need to keep a ground sheet in the pannier bag. My ride to work is on gravel and sand tracks! Not good for chains :-).

Want my cruzbike q45 to have that exact set up with racks👍 Wish they could make it possible to have a front rack on the front wheel

I am pretty sure you don't want a rack or any weight on that front wheel considering all the dynamics of a swinging fwd setup, not to mention messing up the earodynamics that you managed to achieve by choosing a recumbent.

I enjoyed the video. Do you have a CruzBike store in North Carolina?
