First time I’ve seen the sprint with the step ladder today Pete, I was very impressed indeed I must say!! In the past I have only ever clocked you standing as I’ve marched past. Solid effort 👌

It is not really giving up my time to be brutally honest. The alternatives are... Sitting at home watching TV, Shopping in Slough, or else what is very often relatively hard labour out in the garden. I could go for a bike ride. LOL. It is, without a doubt, the best free show for miles around. Why would I get excited about doing almost anything else. And i do get a teeny bit of exercise out of it. 🏃🏃♂🏃♀ Onwards !

@@MilitaryBandsEverywhere That was not all that fast, apart from crossing the road before the Band got to the water main works. I am a product of my fairly lethal environment. A daily cyclist, on the B416, at the southern end of GX. 60 mph limit. Ummmm. Scrub that. I have clocked them doing 3 times that. 100 meters in one second. You do the maths. LOL. One of them hit me and ran in August 2020. Never bothered them. For me, brain surgery, and a coma for a month. Lost 3 stone in 5 weeks. Weight loss adverts on TV are for amateurs ! 🤣

Great video, many thanks😎 Almost a full set of matching plumes for SDM Chambers and the band of the Irish guards ( just two Scots guards right at the back so no plume at all😊)

And I just bet that the two Scots Guards really loved playing 'If you're Irish'. Must have been quite a buzz for them. Probably would have preferred to have been playing Edinbugh Castle. Something like that. 😊

Although I have never attempted that type of cerebral effort, the only possible exception being while day dreaming, I believe that it would elevate the concept of multi tasking to infinity, and beyond ! I believe that most of the people that I know personally, and some of them are rather clever, would consider that kind of mental activity... a challenge ! 🤢

@@Cynocephali I’ve since been corrected! They weren’t guests from the Band of the Scots Guards but were indeed Grenadiers! The skinny little plumes were hiding in the bearskins and I didn’t spot them until VickyRoyalHistory pointed them out☺️ No matter, I’m sure they’ll have done a sterling job. I’m in awe of these good band folk, it’s one thing getting the instruments to emit the correct sound but to do it whist smartly on the move, and in all weathers, is incredible😎

The whole video. I’ve seen a couple of videos where they are so close to the band, they could almost be a part of the band

*Cough Cough*! Reggie, How dare you.......😂 Thanks for the marches! The Band of the Irish Guards sounding superb! "The Man with the Lungs of Steel" (Sgt D. Lockwood) is certainly living up to his name. By the way number 2 is "If You're Irish & Begorrah". 😉

@@delvinrodriguez3341 Sorry that you were beaten over the finish line this week. I do like the 'If You're Irish & Begorrah' update. LOL. Never mind. Still only mid February. The race will be long and gruelling. I am looking for taller steps this morning. If Castle Hill os like thatt this week, imagine the fiasco that June will be. I need more leg extension surgery... or wings. Onwards !
