Thanks, Sinead! Actually, the videos relevant to what we are doing in class this semester have already been released (#1-#9 of the old-school Zettelkasten series). But no need to watch those since I’ll be covering all the relevant stuff in class.

Thanks for the update. If you use Zotero at all, I'd love to see a video about that. I found it's a nice complement to my zettelkasten.

Thanks for the comment, Richard. I do use Zotero but somewhat sporadically. If you're looking to integrate Zotero with Obsidian (not sure if you are), you might want to check out the following link, which Eleanor Konik included in her most recent Obsidian Roundup: gizn.org/notes/2023/01/20/how-to-connect-zotero-with-obsidian.html?ref=obsidian-iceberg She also included a link to a demo Obsidian-for-Academia vault: github.com/rlaker/Obsidian-for-Academia In addition, if you run a search for "Zotero Danny Hatcher," my guess is that you'll find some relevant ones (including a video he posted within the past 2-3 weeks where he indicated which Obsidian Zotero-related community plug-in he uses for integrating Zotero with Obsidian). Same if you search "Zotero Bryan Jenks." I hope those links are of some help. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Mr. Hoorn! I’ve been wanting to contact you but didn't know how! It was only yesterday that I found you via reddit ("odd job man"), and then I saw your comment here. (By the way, you might want to consider changing your KZitem name from "Productivity" to something like "Orchestrator of Badass Reforms of the Dutch Educational System," assuming that you continue to pursue that ambitious project of yours.) The next two paragraphs below were part of my response to one of Aliman's comments on the second video in my series ("#2 - What kind of addresses should you put on your Zettelkasten cards"). In the second of the paragraphs, you will see that I was hoping to get Aliman to "hound you" to provide me with a link to a piece about card addresses that you MIGHT have posted to reddit at some point. If you happen to have a link to share, please do, as I think plenty of people would be interested in knowing about the kinds of addresses you put on your Zettelkasten cards. TWO PARAGRAPHS In your comment [Aliman's comment, just to be clear], you spoke of using combinations of various characters in such a way that one might be able "to more readily get a sense of the relationship between notes." As I see it, all you need from whatever card-addressing scheme you come up with are (A) unique addresses for each card and (B) a way of indicating that such-and-such a card follows or precedes some other card (Dan Allosso made that point in the fourth Antinet Book Club session better than I did just now). The scheme I lay out in Video 3 in my series does both of those things. If there's any other sort of "relationship between notes" you might think it helpful to signify with numbers, letters, etc., I'd be interested to hear what that is. But as I see it, once you jettison the idea of using top-level categories, the only "relationship between notes" that needs to be captured in one's card-addressing scheme is the one laid out in B above (or, put differently, one that will track the Folgezettel you create in your system). I noticed in the fourth session that Matthew van der Hoorn has a way of doing things where numbers consistently mean one thing and letters another (he said something about cards being either "supplemental" or "complementary" or something like that). I was having trouble figuring out what he meant, and when I went in search of a reddit post he said he MIGHT have written on the topic, I couldn't find it. So please make sure to hound him for a link and insist that he subscribe to my channel and hit "like" on at least 90% of my videos.
