Great update. Its fantastic that the big brand and the small business have listened and provided fixes and solutions.

Thanks Paul and yes Laguna got in touch directly to rectify an issue and talk about the other stuff, very impressed. I’m trying to work on presentation style for videos like this keeping it short and snappy, so you think it is better in terms of video quality?

@Hand-i-Craft I think the points covered were laid out clearly and had adequate time alloted to them. The seek peak into future videos was very nice, too. Your videos have gone from strength to strength since I 1st discovered your channel. Its fantastic to see the growth in your video filming and editing skills along with your confidence.

Hi Leo, it's nice to see the progress you making and hopefully once you get the right settings you can continue with one less problem. Woodworking is a great thing to do to help with mental health, that's why I do it and although I can't get rid of the pain it's a great distraction and seeing what you do shows us that even though we have disabilities we can make things. Thank you for sharing your journey👍

Totally agree with everything you say here Nathan, hope you are keeping ok pal. Look after yourself mate and let's both keep trying to focus on what we can do and not what we can't 👍

Great video and chuffed to hear the surgery might be paying off. In terms of the sideways movement you refer to on the router sled, it's generally called "crabbing"

Thanks Dave and of course, ‘crabbing’, perfectly suitable term 😀😀👍👍

Looking forward to the desk build. I'm looking at starting to do more slab and resin work, so I'm going to look forward to that. Just did a small kitchen island using oak and filled some cracks and voids with resin and really enjoyed the build, so looking forward to taking it up a notch.

Good to see you up and about looking forward to the kitchen referb. Did mine in second lockdown, it's a doddle but probably cheaper to buy your cabinet carcasses rather than building them

Thanks Derek. I’m thinking of keeping the cabinets as they are ok, just maybe paint them. Would love to change the hinges to soft close but not sure I can afford that atm 🤔👍

Hi, I may be wrong, but you cannot use a trim router to power a 2-inch levelling bit, it just doesn’t have the power to run the bit and would burn out within one or two boards and as far as I know the bits will not fit into a ¼ inch collet on trim routers.
@Hand-i-Craft

I agree John and I can only imagine people are requesting a 1/4 inch router attachment plate for some kind of finer work, and not levelling slabs 🤷♂️

Leo, as a tenant in your property did you have any reservations about building your workshop and what if you leave, would you take it with you. 🐌🐌
@Hand-i-Craft

Good question pal. Firstly I checked with the landlord about the whole workshop thing and he was fine with it. It’s also the main reason why I built it in a ‘modular’ style so if needed it could be disassembled and moved or sold. I’m hoping I won’t have to do that for a good few years pal, we’re really settled here and the landlord is happy with us as long term tenants 👍👍
