Chapati Recipe | How To Make The Best Soft Chapathi | Phulka
Phulka, also known as chapati or roti, is a traditional unleavened flatbread that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It's made from whole wheat flour, water, and sometimes a pinch of salt.
INGREDIETNS
Atta Flour (Chakki whole wheat) - 300g
Salt - 1 Tsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Water - 200ml approximately
Knead the Dough well until its soft and smooth.
To prepare chapati, the dough is kneaded using the flour and water until it reaches a soft, pliable consistency. Small balls of dough are then rolled out into thin, circular shapes using a rolling pin. These circles are then cooked on a hot griddle or tava without any oil.it puffs up due to steam trapped inside, creating a soft and airy texture. It's typically cooked on both sides until lightly browned spots appear.
