hi. you have clarified bautifully that thalamus is a relay station which chooses what stimulus to accept and relay on to the brain. my question is that thos suffering from sensory overload as in autistic kids....do they have a problem in thalamus. perhaps more research should be done here? what is your opinion

+Hakeema haigler We use the textbook Visual Anatomy and Physiology. The authors are Martini, Ober and Nath and the publisher is Pearson.
