I read a good article about this subject. It's about CHARM vs CHARISMA. [Charmers] and smooth talkers are able to GO UP TO people/women and get them to like them. They're able to adopt whatever face/mask/personality is appropriate for the given audience/ scenario. Think of Oscar Schindler in Schindlers List. [Charismatics] are good at maintaining a certain aura about them and getting people/women to COME TO THEM. They're not necessarily interested in getting people to like them. In fact, they can often rub certain people the wrong way. But they're usually cordial and masculine enough to get a base level of respect, even from people who don't like them. Think of James Bond. If a charmer tries to be charismatic it comes off as try-hard. If a charismatic tries to come off as charming, it comes off as being fake.

Key to smooth, no matter who you are talking to. No matter why you are talking to them. Know when to leave the conversation, and always be the one to exit, on a high note. You are unlikely to do this on instinct. It usually takes time and messing up. Get this stage out of the way with as young as possible.

@MothmanMotsu We're here to help each other. All conversations in life are some form of sales pitch. So, yer either not aware you are selling. Which makes you a poor salesmen. Or, you're the unwitting customer ;) Either way. You should value the time of the person you are speaking with. Teach em something, or make em laugh. Ideally, both. If you're doing neither you are wasting someone's time. Maybe he's just too young to know.

The first one is true. There is a Peter F Drucker quote from his book Managing Oneself that says, "Most people think they know what they are good at. They are usually wrong. More often, people know what they are not good at - and even then more people are wrong than right. And yet, a person can perform only from strength. One cannot build performance on weaknesses, let alone on something one cannot do at all." so we all have different strengths and weaknesses and Being Cool or Being Funny may or may not be one of our strengths.

To me the biggest thing that increased my success with women was getting in the best shape I could be. I became a gym rat and took a bunch of supplements and after about a year of doing that I developed a phenomenal physique and I started to get women I couldn't get before. In fact women would often hit on me, complimenting my chest or my arms and I didn't have to do anything. Number two is driving a really nice car. Preferably a newer luxury car. That bagged me a lot of women as well. In that way we can take advantage of women's hypergamy. You pull up in that new luxury whip and they just can't help themselves lol. All men in the dating game can do those two things. That gives you a head start, as you learning this game from ams 😎
