Thank you! Charcoal continues to be a tool I grab for in the studio.

Cool. I just have to ask.... did you buy the rug with footprints, for your art room...or did you make it like that yourself? If you did it yourself was it on purpose. It is a very interesting look and conversation piece for your videos. I love it. lol

The flooring is large foam squares connected together. I painted them white. The footprints are from myself and my son working in my studio. Evidence of our creative spirits being together 😁

Very good! do you use fixative after?

I don't normally use a fixative when I am playing. When I am going to sell a piece I use a spray fixative or gently applying a matte medium over the top to hold the charcoal in place.

Pen and ink is my favorite illustration style. This is just much more time consuming than sketching. Which has to start somewhere. I actually came here cuz I thought you were painting charcoal sculpture.

This painting is so thought-provoking, everything is just so inspiring, from the thick black luscious lines of charcoal to the usage of different household materials!!!! 🤯 I absolutely love and adore your sense of freedom and creativity! 💕🤍 If you don’t mind me asking what is brand name of the paper that you’re using? The only reason why I’m asking is because I’m looking for a really good mixed media paper!

Thank you for watching and your lovely comment. I am using Master's Touch 300 gsm cold pressed watercolor paper.

Demonstrations are forced. But your command of mix media is pure & raw and stay with it try a panel or tape paper edge to stay clean

Your art looks interesting. But I'm afraid I find it hard to hear what you say, it's very quiet. I can't make it louder.
