Uriel Garcia not no more bro. He changed up. listen to Jeffery. that mixtape was hella influenced by a lot of reggae shot and pop. You need to let go of wayne. i get that he a legend but his waves dead. he isn't coming back. thugger got his own style. if you wanna hear how heavily he was influenced by wayne listen to his forst mixtape EVER I came from nothing. he legit wasn't mumbling and had some barz but sounded a lot like Old Wayne.

Canibus was a talented lyricist and battle rapper who went at a legend but couldn't make any classic hits songs. 50 Cent made classic songs and much better music then Ja Rule who responded with forgettable diss tracks. Young Thug is a hot right now rapper making disposable music going at a legendary rapper like Wayne who is musically cold right now until he can find his lane again and make hits that will make rap fans forget about Thugga

Christopher Carter ll cool j came at canibus first and ll's diss songs were so corny compared to canibus's diss song about him which exposed ll cool j for who he is while cool j was saying fictional shit about canibus. Canibus tried to end the beef too before he released second ko and ll cool j played it off and told him they're gonna do a song together and he's gonna change the lyrics to his verse which was bullshit. Even though 50 cent beat ja rule, you cannot forget that new york song ja rule put out, it was the shit

Obama even said You may not be the next lil wayne but be somebody of value. Couple years ago wayne was featured on EVERYBODY SHIT couldn't turn the fuckin radio on with out hearing him in it. is he cold now no just people are moving on now the rode his wave for while and are stepped back. But don't act like wayne isn't one of the best during our era. he's up there in that list. I'd say top 5 top 10 depending on who you are but can't discredit him for his work.

This generation is about putting the new guy on a pedestal and making the legends lame because they aren't buying into the trends of the present. Lil Wayne is truly a legend. His body of work and business moves have set his legacy in stone. The guy works so hard and puts out so much music, at one point. It was the only thing I ever heard on the radio. Fads will fall by the wastes side but quality music that move and changes generations will always be around for the long haul. Also remember, Young Thug is a by product of everything Lil Wayne already is.

Then you haven't really listened to Nas's music. Go listen to "The Don" or "Nasty" off of Life Is Good and tell me if either of them are boring. But if you're one of those increasing number of people in the modern era who only listens to the beat instead of the music in its entriety, including lyrics and flow, then keep listening to your Young Thug and Lil Yachty.
@kevinjohnson6549

Logan Leatherman Beats are getting better obviously. And I listen to lyrics as well. The reason modern music is better is because new rappers rhythm and flow is far more unique and impressive. They also have melody and harmony which makes it actually nice to listen to. Old school music is dying off, something better has come along.
