It's not a methodist hymn. It's a Christian Hymn inspired by the Holy Spirit. I say this so we can stop viewing things through denominational lenses.

John and Charles Wesley brothers' legacy should be continued. The Christ-centered, scripture-based salvation in which not only the gift of justification but also the real change of heart (sanctification) was what they were assured to be the true Christian salvation.

How nice it is to see the House of God filled with the faithful,and the voices of Praises.Where is this ?
@JohnSlider
8 жыл бұрын
+linblosune The BBC produces a series of hymn singing in various locations ... sometimes church, sometimes large auditoriums. I think the series is called "Songs of Praise." You may find them on KZitem. These hymns were taken from various programs and located in different places.
@x8lover

+John Wesley Slider It is called Songs of Praise and there is plenty from this programme on KZitem. Someone chooses a hymn and then discusses why it is special to them. The concept has also found its way into church worship and this type of service is always popular.

Ha! I have gotten that comment before ... once, but probably more who did not take the time to critique. It is a fair critique. I have changed my bumpers since...not on previously posted. Going back to all videos with that bumper would be an overwhelming task. The easy solution (for me) is that you download the video, edit out the bumpers, and save for your own use, or post yourself. I don't mean to sound defensive, it is just that I don't want the extra work :)

After listening to such beautiful hymns the aggression of the music of the trailer of the video is really bad taste. Please remove the trailer!!!

Thanks for watching. Can you think of a "Plan B" for your suggestion?

Sure... replace the trailer for one with soft music. I was in prayer led by the inspiration of the hymn and I was shocked by the trailer. Please allow us to transition...

Your "Plan B" involves more work for me. The opening and closing were packages that I was using in 2012. Let's negotiate your "Plan B" to include more involvement from you. It has had over 80,000 views as is!

Please ignore my comment. I appreciate your initiative. The hymns are a blessing! If the fix to replace the trailer requires too much work, use this energy producing new videos with new hymns ...

Not a problem. We are all in this together. I guess my Marine Corps came out in me! I have changed the trailer on later posts. If I go back and do everyone from 2012 it would be hard!

What an inappropriate music preceding this video. And the closing was truly irreverent and obscene. Are you in the right frame of mind?
@JohnSlider
7 жыл бұрын
Well, the video has had almost 83K views; 294 "thumbs up," and twenty-one "thumbs down." I don't mind your comments. I only suggest that you examine your need to question my "frame of mind." Such an ungracious phrase suggests that your are questioning my mental or, possibly, emotional attitude. Is there a basis for your evaluation, or do you evaluate everyone's attitudes based on your personal taste?
