CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - The Charleston Medal of Honor Museum will soon be back open for business, after a $3.5 million facelift.
Museum officials say it's bigger and better than ever. The new space is a whopping 25,000 square feet larger and more technologically advanced. As one official put it, "It's a museum that encompasses all your senses."
"When we pay attention to history, we can learn lessons - and we can inspire the future," said Sgt. Ryan Pitts, a Medal of Honor recipient.
