What a great Character! 👍 I worked on Zardoz...and Excalibur when I was in my mid teens, My Dad had a Marquee Company and we did all of the location work in Ireland..I remember seeing Charlie on Set in Excalibur..he was a Young Mordred..I'd say maybe 10 years Old. WOW!! Great to see you did well Charlie 👏 ☘️🕶🇮🇪🇨🇦

He is a lovely guy. Ten years as a painter and decorator after an exciting upbringing must have been hellish. He loves bikes so top chap and extremely interesting.

My boyfriend and I ride Harley so someone recommended Long Way Up so we watched that one first. Now we are watching the first 2. So amazing and entertaining. Plus, while Ewan as Obiwan is cool, my very favorite movie of all times is Excalibur, so I was excited to learn Charlie was in that movie. Charlie is an inspiration to us all.

1:03:15 Sorry to hear about Charley's father John Boorman suffering from old age - his "Hope and Glory" is still one of my all-time favourite films.

Anyone who has met Charley knows he’s a lovely guy! Super interview! (There is a lot of negative stuff around… some people are pretty sick.. just jealous I guess)

The “hobbling” thing is no joke. Been riding for 16 years, and since I started ADV riding, I’ve broken 4 ribs, crushed an ankle, gotten a hope replacement, and am hobbling because my other hip is telling me I need another one…and I’m only 44!

I remember range anxiety when there were not many diesel pumps at garages so you had to plan your route where you could fill up.
