I know I’m way late to this game and I’m playing catch-up. I have a few questions that didn’t get addressed. Q1, How do the containers or guest shell gain access to the interfaces on the host switch? Are they all accessible from every environment? Q2, how did you get alpine in the switch to be able to load in the docker container?

Awesome video. I was trying the tcpdump from the guestshell and it looks like it can only handle traffic that was punted to the CPU instead of all traffic on the interface, so it winds up being similar to ethanalyzer. Anyone get that working to see all traffic?

lol... looks like it probably could, but I haven't tried and wouldn't suggest it: hub.docker.com/r/itzg/minecraft-server/
