His grown adult daughters? Vickie should have done a better job keeping her house in order. Chavo comes off incredibly petulant here. That storyline with Rey and Eddie in my eyes allowed Dom to inherit those moves. Chavo comes off as so disgusting here...

Ok, first things first: Eddie’s daughters absolutely should be financially taken care of by the WWE considering *they* (the WWE) still make Eddie merchandise and it’s still a high seller. I’m sure at one point (and who knows maybe still is) Vickie was receiving those benefits. At this point though, I hope the WWE could do something so the money would actually go to his three daughters instead. Secondly, I really do hope Rey and Chavo can talk about this and work out any differences there may be. I truly don’t believe Rey and Dom have any ill intentions. You can tell by the way Rey talks about Eddie that he was very shocked and hurt over his sudden death and it affected him way more than he probably ever anticipated. I’m sure all Rey thought about was making sure Eddie was remembered by the world. It hurts me that people may think bad of Rey when there wasn’t any ill intent. Rey had always received the ok from Vickie and up until this past year him and Chavo were cool so I don’t feel Rey or Dom should get any heat over this.
@basketballbicker8933
9 ай бұрын
This is a wrestling show. Dominik was involved in a huge storyline with Eddie as a kid, and some part of that story is continuing today. If he never had interactions with Eddie in WWE and they suddenly made him an Eddie clone, then Chaco would have a point. But Eddie is part of Dom’s TV story.
@MissBmoney
9 ай бұрын
@@basketballbicker8933 Yeah, I know I saw that storyline, I’ve been a wrestling fan since the 90’s. I said Rey and Dom aren’t wrong and don’t deserve any heat. Chavo also isn’t wrong in saying that Eddie’s daughters deserve royalties and that comes from the WWE. We as fans don’t really know how the backstage politics or how contracts work, Chavo would have an idea though considering he used to be apart of it so maybe that’s why he’s saying some of the sh*t that he’s saying. When Eddie’s oldest daughter was trying to be a wrestler the WWE wouldn’t let her use the Guerrero last name despite it being her actual last name. Eddie is still one of their top selling merchandise so who is getting that money if not his daughters? My guess is Vickie but her and the daughters don’t have a good relationship. Chavo is not wrong for how he feels but he’s taking it out on the wrong people, Rey and Dom, when he should be working it out with the WWE.
@basketballbicker8933
9 ай бұрын
@@MissBmoney Yeah I was agreeing with you. I don’t know about the family stuff. I just know Chavo is mad at the wrong people. It might start to make a difference in putting pressure on WWE if Chavo starts being more direct.
@MissBmoney
9 ай бұрын
@@basketballbicker8933 Ok, my bad. Yeah I don’t know why he won’t actually call out the WWE. My guess is maybe he feels like if he puts pressure on Rey and Dominik maybe they’ll put pressure on the WWE since they actually work for the company, but IF that is the case he’s going about it all wrong. He literally needs to call Rey on the phone and try to talk to him about it peacefully. Unless there really is something we all don’t know for him to try to get people to turn on Rey and Dom is just low and comes across as spiteful. I think Chavo is more mad at Vickie than anybody else but because Rey and Vickie are friendly he seems to be taking some of it out on Rey which again is not cool. The stuff with the daughters just recently came out. It seems like the pressure is put on the oldest daughter to be peace keeper. The second daughter is claiming that Vickie’s new husband sexually assaulted her. And Eddie’s youngest daughter isn’t even Vickie’s biological daughter so she doesn’t seem to really receive any recognition which is just sad. The whole thing is sad and it just makes everyone really wish Eddie was still around.
@AJ-em1id
8 ай бұрын
Apparently Vickie is estranged from their youngest daughter. Vickie’s boyfriend allegedly molested them but Vickie stood by the boyfriend instead of her daughter. She’s also been cold to the extended Guerrero family after this happened. If Vickie was in control of the finances she’s keeping it from her daughters. It’s a horribly fucked up situation.

Now that I've grown up, I realized that some of these "midcarders" are even better than the big stars. Good workers, like Chavo, William Regal, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin, to name a few. It's so nice to hear insights from Chavo since he actually had a tough job being a midcarder: elevate potential future stars. And that's what he's also doing in this movie. Chavo is a class act, man. Chavo comes off so poorly with his Dominik comments. I've always had a suspicion that he doesn't like people using Eddie's move because he wants to use them. To enrich himself. Invoking Eddie's daughters is so gross. When Sherilyn came forward with her assault his response was he didn't want to get involved, now this? Chavo needs to stick to his own advice "it's not my business, and that's something that I want to stay out of, for sure" WWE handled Eddie's legacy far better than his family has. Dominik doesn't do the Three Amigos because he is currently a heel. Kayfabe still exists to me. As far as im concerned these homages to Eddie keep his name alive and is not exploitative. Dominik earned the right to use these moves from the custody storyline.
@basketballbicker8933

Chavo seems jealous because he’s a Guerrero, so he probably feels he should get that love and attention as Eddie’s nephew. He wants to be that link to Eddie. Meanwhile Rey and Dominik have deep storyline ties to Eddie, so Dominik is more than justified to borrow from Eddie. They had a paternity angle. It doesn’t get deeper than that. Chavo is hating. He’s bitter that he doesn’t get that Guerrero love and fans associate Rey and Dominik more with Eddie than he.
