Update: I am using the machine for more than three months now and it still works fine (as you will see in one of the upcoming videos ;) In the beginning I used it almost every day, now maybe once a week on average (sometimes more, sometimes not at all) the distance of the shot is still the same and the first set of batteries is still working. As many of you have pointed out, that the machine lost power after a few months as the rolls wore down and there is now real option to replace them so you should keep that in mind. I will keep you updated if that happens to mine as well but so far I am still happy with mine!

Thanks for the update Tobias. Actually I was wondering why my machine wasn't feeding effectively recently, so kinda gave up using it! After reading your comment, I opened it up and indeed found the rollers were worn out, but asymmetrically such that the bottom is as per original. I turned them upside down and it worked as normal. At some point soon it will be worn out evenly. When that happens, I am going to build up a layer or two somehow. When I do, I'll make a video and link here.

thanks for this review. i dont think the batteries are a problem, as a one-time investment in 8x rechargeables would probably provide a continuous supply of battery power at near-zero marginal cost. the machine is that it doesnt appear to put much wear on the shuttles (please correct me if this is wrong). i've used machines that squish the whole shuttle rather violently. however, as you point out, it's a very limited machine. i could see using it maybe along with an inexperienced human feeder, although once you have a good human feeder, there really is not much use for a machine, especially one that is so limited
@tobiaswadenka8435
Yes i think the batteries are defintly worth the money as there are many courts without energy supply next to it and you would also need an extra cable all the time. The shuttles dont take any damage from the machine so far 👍 and yes, an experienced feeder is way more flexible but I think not everybody has one all the time

There were problems reported on Amazon with the on/off switch, the workaround was to leave the switch on and just plug in and out (or take one battery out). Not exactly trust inflicting stories. Also, 15 shuttles are not the best - but at least the price is still low and the precision is not bad. I don't think the wheels will last for long, though, so buying one for every season would be a bad deal.
