Damn, this is very close to a 3D printed version of the P1P

A little bit more and you could build the voron trident 300mm. Though I must say this is a super cool printer, if it could be larger and runs input shaper etc as well I would definitely build one

I use a MKS Monster 8 v2 cause they are cheap and work well. Any nema 17 will work. Defiantly check out my discord there are users building them. discord.gg/Vyma4E5M

Is there a 4 Z rod version for keeping the bed plate leveled at all times. So all you have to worry about is bedplate warping over time.
@Rolohaun
5 ай бұрын
you only need 3 points to make a level plane, this printer uses 3 independent motors to level itself. 4 rods cause binding and the rods do not hold the bed up at all. I tired it on my Rook and it wasn't good

How do you bed level it??
@Rolohaun

the printer has 3 independent z motors that auto level the bed so no manual leveling is needed

What does coreXY mean?
@Rolohaun
Жыл бұрын
Both X and Y motors work together to move the X and Y axis unlike cartesian which uses X to move X and Y to move Y. CoreXY is usually faster and has a higher speed

When you say "the full video" which video are you talking about? There are like 10 vidoes on your channel about stuff that looks VERY much like this. Im not trying ti be rude im just confused.
for a DIY 3d printer with independent z motors it is. All depends on where you live and if you have used parts you can use.
