You’re like me and willing to put in a little effort to save some money. Every time I do labor or making accessories I always think that’s extra money in my gas tank

I don't make a lot of money so I have a hard time justifying much cash for appearance mods and sometimes it's fun for me to do this stuff and I enjoy having something that's not store bought. When you start talking about going faster... well... that's more of an addiction and I have to fight off those urges the best I can. lol

16g works well for me, but I have a stock spring. I've never used a Malossi belt on the TMAX. If you have the full Malossi CVT with the rear pulley, then I would probably use the Malossi belt. Otherwise, the stock belt has worked so far for me.

Nice job, very nice and clean. Also I want to ask you if I can register a Honda Dio AF18 125cc in the USA? Thanks!
@49ccscoot
Жыл бұрын
Thanks. Registration and other scooter laws vary by state, so there may be 50 different exact scenarios. For my state, if it's a 50 it is supposed to stay a 50. You'd have to go through some special registration and inspection process to get it classified as a motorcycle otherwise I think. If it's originally a 125, then it would be tagged as a motorcycle.

Hello, I just wanted to say when I first got my 2018 Racer 50 the motorcycle looking one. I fell into the KZitem trap of modding everything out, so it's sat in the garage & storage unit until the spring. I ordered parts for it and gradually got it put back together through the summer and had the motor rebuilt into an 80cc. You will like this one my scooter mechanic finally asked me after all the mods what number of motor is this and how many miles are on the odometer, I said to him I ruined the original motor,the second motor and this is the third motor and the odometer has 191 miles on it. He just shook his head at me and laughed 🤣. I learned my lesson not to mod everything that you get.

Stock is often the best for longevity, but there's no reason that a modified motor can't last a long time. Depends how it's modified. An 80cc (47mm bore, actually 72cc) greatly improves acceleration on these and can last quite a while.

Bro do you have a video about your mix ratio in your 2 stroke scooter? Thank you
@49ccscoot
Жыл бұрын
I don't have a video about it, but I'm using 4oz per gallon which is 32:1 with AMSOil Dominator Racing 2T. Most people will use between 32:1 and 50:1. I used 50:1 for years, but switching to 32:1 seems to be showing less scuffing. I'd prefer the richer oil mix for high rev stuff and reserve 50:1 for stock to sport stuff.

I bought the 80cc conversion kit with the a9 racing cam along with adding a racing carburetor to it. Talk about a night and day difference compared to the old 50cc that was on it. The hills and some slopes around town are 35 mph with the new 80cc I can maintain my speed with the traffic compared to that 50cc any slight slope or going up the one Hill going home loose 5 to 10 miles an hour. I am so looking forward to spring to ride this to work I've been riding around the neighborhood on nice days to break the new motor in.

Shared. Are u using flux core to weld.or gas shielded wire?.
@49ccscoot
Жыл бұрын
I was just using flux core. I use it for most simple mild steel tasks. It's cheap and simple and I've done more of that welding than anything else by far.
@Josemanc
Жыл бұрын
You should try gas shielded mig welding. Cleaner and more good looking welds. But what I really like to see is you using that Tig welder you got a couple of months back.... Anyways congrats on the new look. Super clean.
@49ccscoot
Жыл бұрын
@@Josemanc Yeah. Flux works OK for me for a lot of this stuff, but MIG would be better. Usually if I don't want to flux it, I go straight to TIG. I only have 1 bottle so I kinda like keeping each rig setup so I can plug in and go.
