I have both the Kiss Red Hair Dyer and Titanium Ceramic Flat Iron and they're fantastic!!! They real get the job done on my thick 4C hair!!! I would recommend The Kiss Red Line first, if they're looking for affordable hot styling tools 👍👏🏆💯👑💖🤗

I got their blow dryer, but a red and black ceramic one that came out earlier in the year with two comb attachments and concentrator one. I love it. I also love the straightening comb from the Gold Series, you can do your roots without feeling the burn. Anyone who hates old school hot combs would love this modernized one! I thought about the pencil irons, but I am like, I need temp control, but I prefer the straightening comb, anyway. Use right products, and you'll forgo flat irons. But glad I kept my flat iron, because I'll need to replace the comb, which, I hope to be able to soon!

How do you prevent that burnt smell when flat ironing hair? I have been told it's the products used but you have to use a deep conditioner /heat protection. Please advise and thanks.
@jr8694
3 жыл бұрын
I know this is old but for anyone who wants an answer - I used to have a burnt smell when flat ironing and realized it was because I was using leave in conditioner that wasn't designed for use with heat. Once I switched to a leave-in designed for heat (I use the Design Essentials Agave & Lavender Moisturizing Blow-Dry & Styling Primer ), that issue was reduced tremendously.

I've been told that it may be due to the fact that your flat iron may be dirty. Alot people don't realize that they do need to clean their styling tools. I had this issue. I figured that the products I was using was building up on the plates and burning on to my hair when styling. I cleaned my plates with a little bit of alcohol and let the plates dry. I do this with my marcels and my Chi. It helped alot with the marcels but the Chi flat iron I could still smell it. I came to the conclusion that with the Chi's...I may have the temp set too high. Hope this helps.
