Would love to help, but I'd have to see what you have going on up close, can't really give you an assessment just going by what you're saying. From the sounds of it, you might have a bad control box. The 12v that runs the fans is separate from the 5 volts for the RGB. This split off in voltage and function is handled inside the control box. If the fans are not spinning, then the 12v link for that chain is defective for some reason.

I'm only ASSUMING second one over is a negative, not sure what end lead is used for. Some of these controllers can adjust fan speed and some can interact with motherboard pwm. @@phreakwars I got the C7 fans by Darkflash. I texted with the OEM and they told me that their fans doesnt support pwm, so I thought there are 2 negatives, as you said. No, 4 pin RGB runs on 12v current, these run on 5v.

@@phreakwars When you get a chance, post a reply, I was doing some searching but no one has posted anything about the connector type. I believe it is 2.0mm JST PH 6 pin (B2B-PH-K-K) www.jst-mfg.com/product/pdf/eng/ePH.pdf

@@jcwalker3 I checked the PDF. Yes, that does indeed appear to be the correct part number. If so, would make an easy side job if you're looking to make a bunch of your own.

@@phreakwars thanks to the speed of the internet and amazon, I am now in possession of the connector (which i tested and is exactly the right connector, just wish i could find the black ones) and a crimping tool. Maybe I will do a DIY video on how to make the connections. Now off to play with my new tools.
@jcwalker3

@@phreakwars after making a few of these, i would not make this a job unless I had a machine that could do the crimping. the ends are small and the tool is less than exact, after a few hours I believe i am an expert crimper, but do not relish the thought of having to do this again, because my other son wants a similar build.

Yeaaa...i burned my fans trying to connect this scam of a 6 pin connector to 12v. Argb leds just exploded, the fan motor is happy and thriving. garbage. On the fan box says its 12 v. Nothing about 5 volts.... Nbase Vortex

Sorry you were a dumb ass and did it wrong. Nobody else (and there have been HUNDREDS) had that problem. Fucking tard, pay attention next time instead of trying to tell me it's a scam. I won't be held responsible for your stupidity. So go fuck yourself and piss off. I scam nobody. Are the proper adapters I link to in the description a scam too??? Fucking idiot.

Make gamedias controller adress to ux100 cpu coller ux100 has 2 pin only rgb controller how to connect to gamedias controller
@phreakwars
Жыл бұрын
For the UX100, it uses the data and ground lead, I don't have a Gamdias controller to show you how it is done, Gamdias uses a proprietary 8 pin, you'll need to use a multimeter to trace the ground and data leads.

I would like to use my Thermaltake TT Riing 1425 fans running on 12V with a proprietary connector. It's fan on 5 pin. I guess that has 3 wires for the RGB and 2 wires for the fan. I know this type of wiring, I want to be able to install my fans on a classic 12 v rgb hub
