I picked up a couple new Tikka T3x in 270WSM on gun broker. One was $505 the other was $538 out the door. It's a good cartridge. I agree on the barrels. I think all that short barrel stuff for suppressors is crap. I'd rather do without the can and use the rifle as intended with SPEED.

I have a Browning Stalker A bolt II in 300WM, its a BOSS equipped gun but with the conventional recoil system. The gun is soooo soft shooting that i use it all the time, even for Whitetails, it is a tack driver. But it is big and long! Its the BBU, the "Big Black Ugly" as coined by by son.

If my memory serves me correct, the AB3 is a rebadged Winchester XPR. i have shot one, a friend's son had one in 30-06. We took it out and was impressed by his 6-inch group at 50 yards. I then had a go as obviously he was a shit shot. I improved the results immensely with a solid 5-inch group. After some bewilderment, I called BS. Out came the tool kit. Every screw on the rifle was loose, and on the scope finger tight. The shop fitted the scope! After the tightening, it put 3 in the same hole. They don't look much but they shoot. I do have a A-Bolt 2 and it's a gem.

Same here, I think every gun should have a 3 position safety. And my first eye opener was a ruger 17 hmr. Go walking with it or shake it around. Bolt fells open. I sold it. The A Bolt 3 is actually pretty popular. BPS generally has them on sale during the big Fall Classic Hunting sale. The screw on flash suppressor comes standard. They usually come with a thread protector in the event you choose to remove the flash /recoil suppressor. The stock is hollow, and the price reducer. The nice thing is you can always upgrade to a better quality stock. I'm not sure why you would change that scope mount. It's a good quality mount. But to each his own. Even long actions have went stupid short 22in on 25-06 , 270 , 30-06 even short action like 6.5 prc 6.5 cm 243 all under 22-24in unless you spend big money. Awsome rifle good choice . Came out with their sister company’s Winchester XPR, almost the same gun. Very very similar. The xpr has the better trigger though

Interested to see how this one shoots I have an AB3 in .243 and it’s honestly been quite the problem child to get to shoot well however I do like the gun for the money. Have an xbolt aswell in 300win with that 26” barrel, it is fast!!

My wife gets irritated with me 'cause after I get what I came in for, I need to walk around the store to see if they have something new I didn't know I couldn't live without! It doesn't matter what store it is, Big Box, hardware, gun shop, auto parts, computer etc. I'm addicted.
