I would screw a metal plate on the tractor and then attach the seat to it, so it wouldn´t wobble around so much.

Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. I'll see how it holds up in everyday use first. Thanks for the comment, and for watching of course ❤️

Looks very similar to the one we replaced on our Kubota M4050DT. It wasn't factory original, I don't believe. The same cushion and frame from new to old, but they had moved some of the mounting holes to where the newer base didn't align with the tractor bolts. Old base, new seat, a combination that worked. Our old seat was badly cracked, foam missing on the front edge, and the foam would get wet, leading to a wet seat when first using it after rain or melted snow. The new seat stays dry and can be wiped off easily.

That's nice. Yeah, I'm happy with it so far too. Mine didn't even have cushions. It was horrible. Also, the "flimsyness" side to side, that I mentioned, has actually turned out to be kind of nice as it gives some flex and dampening in those directions as well. Thanks for the comment ❤️ And merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

I absolutely hate those seats with a passion! But then it's your tractor, so not my decision Just reading back the other comments, I actually find that the old pan seats with one curved spring to be some of the most comfortable seats!

I thought it was quite comfortable. The quality is questionable, though. The pan seat was missing the cushions and also quite rusted, though it could have been saved if I really wanted to. I guess we'll see how it holds up. I might regret this decision in the future.. Thanks for the comment ❤️

now im not trying to be that guy but me and my Grandad put one of these seats on our MF 175 and after 2 years it has fell a part and its is hard to move the seat back and forwards. yours might last but ours did not and could you make a video in a year or so showing this seat to see if it lasted.

Haha yeah, we get accustomed to comfort I guess. This tractor was probably state of the art in 1967. Thanks for another comment, and for watching of course ❤️

Thanks for the video. I have installed the exact same seat but chose to use the original bracket. But I don't have Sepson II cabin on my MF188, but Fernmo which needs to have the seat mounted higher due to overview. Works very well. 🙂

That's awesome you could use the original bracket. It's probably nice and sturdy on your tractor then I'm guessing. Very comfortable seat. Thanks for watching! ❤️
