When it comes to foils, I have found the best practice is to wipe the back of the foil, before application. Especially, if it has that orangy brown backing.. it should be silvery in color. Even if they are already silver or the clear kind, I always wipe them, as you dont know what could be on it. And its a wipe, not a scrub. I started with foils, back when it was an actual glue, there wasn't a curable kind. Waiting before application was a must, the longer the better. So, when out of the lamp, I wait, 1 min. Before going in with foils. Its like the heat is a bad thing... when they've cooled off, it transfers better. I then started seeing manufacturers saying, to wait a min before going in with your foil, so I knew I must be on to something. I really like this series of comparison you've got going on. I hope you have more coming in the future. Thank you for sharing 😊

😂😍💅🏽 the trick I found to make the foil adhere to the nail better is after a 60 second cure wait a least anther 6o seconds after your hand is out of the lamp before applying the foil. Your videos are so cool and funny

i use tecanne foil gel from amaone it was less tan £8.00 for 2 15ml bottles and i never had any trouble with it, i saw Aggie from notpolished wipe te sticky layer from the base colour before using the transfer gel and even tho i had no trouble wit this product before trying her hack i had an even easier time with the transfer of the foil
